    Our Program

A defining characteristic of The Johnson Collection is its commitment to public accessibility.

More than a repository of remarkable artworks, TJC serves as a center for scholarship, collaboration, and public engagement. Through loans to museums, scholarly publications, educational initiatives, and rotating exhibitions, we believe art should be widely accessible and continually reexamined.

    Question about our Loan Program?

Every loan reflects The Johnson Collection’s commitment to responsible stewardship.

Before traveling, each artwork undergoes careful review to ensure that it can safely withstand exhibition and transport. The Collection works closely with borrowing institutions, registrars, conservators, and fine art shippers to uphold professional museum standards throughout every stage of the loan process.

Protecting the long-term preservation of the Collection remains central to every partnership.
